We’re excited to share with you the news that Canon Solutions America was voted “Company to Watch” at this year’s Inkjet Summit for the third time. This honor comes directly from Inkjet Summit attendees — senior leaders and business executives in the printing industry. Inkjet Summit, the can’t-miss event for production inkjet, brings together industry members, experts, and leaders to share insight about the growth of the inkjet movement.
This growth is undeniable. According to InfoTrends, inkjet devices produced more than 80 billion impressions in the U.S. in 2014, and that number is predicted to grow to 220 billion by 2019. For book printers and publishers, this means greater opportunities for customized offerings and just-in-time manufacturing of short- to medium-sized runs.
Thomson Reuters Core Publishing Solutions (CPS) saw these changes and took action, introducing the Océ VarioPrint i300 sheetfed press into their operation. Vickie Jensen from CPS and Guy Broadhurst from Canon Solutions America discussed the implementation and expectations of this press at this year’s Inkjet Summit.
